No matter if you're using AttendEasy or FundEasy, if you are inviting guests from multiple past events, we recommend that you use Export Data to export the addresses and then combine them into one spreadsheet. Use the CSV upload in Invite to remove all the duplicate email addresses.

To invite past registrants from single events, use these instructions:

AttendEasy:

  1. Click on the Past Event which contains the registrants you want to send an invitation to.
  2. Click on All Members in the Viewing Options list, and if necessary, scroll down to the bottom of the Registration Details screen.
  3. Select Check All Members in the What would you like to do? selection box. This will select all registered guests for this event.
  4. Select Send Invitation Email in the What would you like to do? selection box, and a new drop down list, Invite to the following event, will appear.
  5. Select the Current Event to which you would like to invite the selected guests.
  6. Click Go, and the Send General Invitation screen will appear. All of the email addresses of the checked registrants from your past event will populate the top text box.
  7. Complete the invitation form by adding a customized message, if desired.
  8. Preview the email to ensure you see the upcoming event details and graphics.
  9. Click Send Invitations

FundEasy:

To invite just participants from a past event, here's how:

  1. Click on the Past Event which contains the registrants you want to send an invitation to.
  2. Click the checkboxes for Participants not on a team and the checkboxes for each individual team in the Viewing Options list, and if necessary, scroll down to the bottom of the Registration Details screen.
  3. Select Check All Participants in the What would you like to do? selection box. This will select all participants for this event.
  4. Select Send Invitation Email in the What would you like to do? selection box, and a new drop down list, Invite to the following event, will appear.
  5. Select the Current Event to which you would like to invite the selected participants.
  6. Click Go, and the Send General Invitation screen will appear. All of the email addresses of the checked registrants from your past event will populate the top text box.
  7. Complete the invitation form by adding a customized message, if desired.
  8. Preview the email to ensure you see the upcoming event details and graphics.
  9. Click Send Invitations.

To invite participants and sponsors from a past FundEasy event you'll need to use two tools, Seach and Invite. 

  • First Click Search to create a list of email addresses from your past event
  • Click Add/Remove Columns to remove any field other than the email address field
  • Click continue
  • Export that file your computer (don't worry about duplicates at this time)
  • Note: you could instead combine your walker, liaison, and sponsor reports to get your email addresses. Using Search requires less editing. Your mileage may vary.

Now import your your newly created .csv file into Invite. We recommend using Invite because this tool will remove duplicate email address that may happen when people register as a walker and liaison, or sponsor several people.

  • Click the Invite link near the top of your screen.
  • Click the Import to Excel link in the upper right corner
  • Click Browse to upload your .CSV file
  • In the second box, write a note encouraging the invitees to come.
  • See what the email will look like by clicking [ Preview ].
  • Check Email me when my guests register if you would like to be notified
  • when any of these people register.
  • Click Send Invitations.
